Day 5

Today my good deed was lending Brittany my stationery. We went to Specialist and she had realized that she had forgotten her stuff. I didn't want her to get in trouble, so I lent her my stuff.
I know I had made a difference because if I didn't lend Brittany my stuff, then she would have to go back all the way to the classroom and get her stuff and she would've have missed out on some work.
I feel happy that I had done something to save time and trouble for someone.
I think Brittany felt thankful and relieved because she stopped fussing and said, "Thank You," to me.

Day 4

Today, after breakfast, my sister was supposed to do the dishes. I was preparing for church and had a lot of things to do. My sister suddenly got a stomach ache and she begged me to do the rest of the dishes. Normally I would say, "No way!" or "Man, do it yourself! You are so lazy." but instead I said, "Sure, okay."
I knew I had made a difference because my sister was in some pain and I took this "burden" (I would call it!) off her.
I felt generous, kind and happy because I had done something to make someones day.
I think my sister felt happy and thankful because she said, "Thank You!" two times.

Day 3

Today we dropped our grandmother off at the airport. When we got back home, my mom was really tired. My grandmother usually does the laundry, dishes, waters the plants etc. My mom felt stressed out because she would have to do all those chores. So I did most of them for her.
I knew I had made a difference because my mom felt tired and I did all those chores for her to save her the trouble.
I feel useful and great because I got to do something that will help around the house and that we would all have to do less chores tomorrow.
I think my mom felt relieved, thankful and happy because she looked quite happy when she saw all those chores done and she said, "Thank You!" to me.

Day 2

Today my brother got back from camp. Since it's Friday, he had to do his paper run. He was really tired and asked me if I would help him. Normally, I would say no because I had something better to do. But instead I said I would do it.
I knew I had made a difference because my brother was really tired and he would have had to do four streets of delivering papers, but I helped him and we did two streets each.
I feel purposeful, because today I did nothing but sit and read.
I think my brother felt relieved, because if he would've done all those streets, he would've have felt really tired.

Day 1

Today my dad asked me to clean the microwave. I felt like watching t.v., but instead I said I would do it.
I knew I had made a difference because my dad had a lot of things to do, and I did this chore for him.
I feel kinda great because I knew I had just went out of my way to do something for someone else.
I think my dad would've felt relieved because I would've taken at least one thing off his to-do list.
